The social nature of the JCTR’s objectives makes us interested in what other Civil Society Organizations are thinking and doing in the social areas. We have close contact with other social centres in Africa and other parts of the world.

The JCTR has been offering consultancy services to different people on various subjects of social description. For instance, the Centre receives students studying for their higher degrees, and individuals sent by organizations within the country and from abroad. They use the Centre’s resources to examine aspects of the economy and society, church and lay leadership and to prepare papers for presentation at seminars or workshops within the country and outside.
United Nations agencies have used JCTR staff for consultancies in areas of social development. At the level of the Church, the Centre collaborates closely with the Zambia Episcopal Conference (ZEC), Council of Churches of Zambia (CCZ) and Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ).
